Over two decades, Alan has been a leader in film, digital media, and cultural events. He produced and directed the award winning films Jackpot and Beautiful and Deranged, oversaw the growth of Hot Docs, North America’s largest documentary festival, founded the seminal Hot Docs Podcast Festival, and steered the development and distribution of exceptional, chart topping works of audio like Pretendians, A Field Guide to Gay Animals, and The Worst Podcast.
